If I had a child, I would delight in reading this book to them, story by sweet story. There is something magical about identifying with other life forms, such as animals. Jance provides children with opportunities to learn without making it obvious.

Bedtime Stories for Children is back again with six more fun and entertaining stories for children ages 5-8. In this book children will read about a porcupine and a beaver, a snake, a deer, a fox and baby bluebird, a cow and a horse.

Each story carries important life lessons such as helping others in need, being kind to others, friendship is important, and it’s okay to be different.

There are only four books in this series but if any more stories come to mind, I may write another couple of books to round out the series to six. The funny thing about this is that I never know when a story will develop until I get a title in my head and then sit and place my fingers on my laptop keyes and let my fingers do the walking and talking.

The complete series has been awarded four Silver Medals from Mom’s Choice Awards, I am thrilled that they enjoyed my books too!

Please consider giving books to all the children on your list for all occasions. There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and wellbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers.
