A long-time friend of mine shared her review of Branyrd the Angel Book 2: Mission of Mercy!

Previously this dear friend of mine shared her review of Book 2 of Branyrd the Angel Series since she does not go online. She is from the old school of thought and doesn’t do reviews but wanted to share her thoughts with me on my blog.

She called me this morning to share her thoughts. Here is what she said.

Book Review by MM for Mission of Mercy: Branyrd the Angel Series Book 2:

This is an interesting story and continuation of this series. I really enjoyed it! I especially liked the main characters, Branyrd and Benedicto and how the Guardian Angel interacts with Branyrd in a funny way. It was nice to see how Branyrd solves problems for the homeless. I didn’t want it to end.

The homeless soldier, Lucas and his little son, Eli, were likable and very sweet. I look forward to the next book in this enjoyable series.

It was nice to hear her thoughts. I promised to send her the next book in the series which is dedicated to her husband who died in September of 2023 and also features both she and her husband as characters in the story. She was deeply touched when I told her this. I only hope when she reads it that she doesn’t cry too much. It is an emotional read. I prepared her for that but I did portray her husband as he was in life – a kind, generous and unselfish man, a true Angel!

When I wrote this book I kept thinking of my friend and tears would brim in my eyes. I shook them away and continued to write doing him justice in any way I could. Dedicating this book to him made me feel that I did something good in his memory. I hope his wife and family see it this way too. Maybe this book will be cathartic to them and help them while they grieve. It isn’t easy to lose a husband, father and friend as wonderful as he was.

My heart goes out to anyone who has lost someone who is dear to them. I pray that you will find peace and grow stronger and continue to move forward in their memory. God Bless you.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Please remember to review books on Amazon for all authors who are hard-working and write to keep you entertained.
