Taking a breather for a little while! Halloween is coming!

After publishing five books in 2023 I will be taking a little time off to rest, recuperate and recharge. While I do this I will be offline somewhat unless there is something of urgency for me to check on my emails and such. If you need to contact me, leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as my break is over. In the meantime stay well, be happy and keep reading.

Halloween is almost here! Are you ready to greet the ghosts, goblins and other things that go bump into the night? We do not get any children to our neighborhood since we are a 55+ development and have signs of no soliciting around. Even though, we do get some solicitors but no trick-or-treaters. I miss seeing them though.

Here are some signs of Halloween to get you in the mood.

Once I am recharged and ready to return to the writing board, will let you know. I have a few books that are in different stages. I plan to finish up the last book in the Branyrd series and then jump over to book 3 in the Gateskin Chronicles which is in early creation, and then right into book 4 of this same series. I hope to complete these three books in 2024. There is also a new series bouncing around in my brain for YA and then back to Novels for 18+ with another new series that will be a continuation of the Mariah series. Of course, I could change my mind again, but this is my plan for now.

Being an eclectic writer I never know in which direction my mind will drift. It keeps me on my toes and probably worn out like I feel right now. It’s not good for my health thus my impending break.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. I hope you will check out all my books soon and write reviews to support authors everywhere. Reviews are what keep authors writing and happy. Please support authors by spreading word about their books through word of mouth and your reviews. Thank you so much!

Wow, Janice! That is amazing! Five books in 2023? I think you deserve a break and a nice (and creepy) Halloween. LOL

The Mister and I live in a small village and we get hundreds of children knocking for their treats because people bring them in from other areas to trick or treat where we live. I love to see all the costumes and creativity.

That reminds me, we need more candy! 😀
