New Review of Children’s Book – Make Believe Once Again: Bedtime Stories for Children Book 4!

I am thrilled to receive this lovely review from BMGN for Make Believe Once Again: Bedtime Stories for Children Book 4! Thank you, BMGN!

5-Stars: Make Bedtime Enjoyable with Book 4 In this ‘Jemsbooks’ Bedtime Story Series for Children 5-8 Years Old.
Your children and grandchildren will be excited to get into bed when ‘Jembooks’ by Award-Winning
Children’s Author Janice Spina, are on their bedside table. This is book 4 in the Make Believe: Bedtime
Stories for Children
5-8 years old. Janice masterfully brings the animal characters to life in six unique
stories. The beautiful illustrations were designed by Dr. John Spina.

DEIDRA THE DARING DRAGONFLY: Bring imagination to life, as your child reads about the little girl
named Aloisa, who becomes friends with Deidra, a daring, mystical dragonfly.
GRIFFIN THE GOAT WHO SAVED THE TREES: Griffin the goat who has no special talents at all, discovers
delicious vines growing around the bark on the maple trees. Griffin is startled when the maple tree
starts telling him about the dangerous plight of vines. Griffin tells the billies and nannies how delicious
the vines are, and impresses the farmer by saving the maple trees. Janice puts an educational note for
parents and guardians about the Bittersweet vine or Oriental Bittersweet is an invasive plant. It is native
to China, Japan, and Korea. It was introduced to the United States around 1860 as an ornamental plant.
She shared photos of bittersweet in her backyard, on her fence.
THE MAGIC CANDLE: An old shop owner learns a valuable lesson from a crooked candle that no one
wants to buy.
CLARA THE SINGING CHICKEN: Clara the chicken has a point to make. She wants to prove she can sing.
She does not want to be famous or leave the farm. She wants Rodney the rooster and others to take her
seriously.
A BOY, A PELICAN, AND A FISH: Janice engages children and parents with this story about a family’s
vacation to Aruba. Neo is turning seven soon, he makes friends with a Pelican named Pete, and a fish
while experiencing the ocean for the first time.
CHIP THE LONELY STARFISH: Janice writes this story in memory of the many starfish she had in her own saltwater tanks. She shares two photos of the latest chocolate chip starfish she had, as the little girl named Bria in this story, becomes friends with a starfish.

I love how Author Janice Spina engages both children and adults alike in these amazing short stories.
Janice has a gift for storytelling intertwined with education. She shares tidbits that will bring
parents/guardians and children closer together, as they read and learn about the world around them.
Janice Spina’s Jemsbooks should be in every child’s library.

Even though he’s only 3 1/2, Eli sits for much longer stories so I think this book would be fine for him. I’m ordering a copy.

They aren’t too long or complicated either. I include new words and another word next to it to explain meaning and add tidbits throughout the stories about different things and also at the end of some. I hope he likes it! Thank you, Noelle! Feel free to have him ask me questions if he wants. Maybe I can do his review on my blog! That would be cute. 3 1/2 yr old reviews book. Haha! 🥰
