I miss my dad every day that he has been gone. Please cherish your father and show him in any way you can how much you love and appreciate him. Time is fleeting and it can get away from us so easily.
Today is Juneteenth and also our 24th wedding anniversary! My husband gave me these gorgeous roses that brought tears to my eyes! We have been celebrating a little all weekend by having lobsters and steamers on Saturday, a movie and Chinese food on Sunday and another dinner out tonight! Life can be good!
Here are my flowers. Hope they bring a smile to your lips and lift your spirits today!
John and I will dine at our favorite restaurant and be thankful for our 24 years together. May we have many more to come.
Addendum: We dined at our favorite restaurant – Piccola Italia in Manchester, NH. Here are some photos there.
This is what we had to eat. We each had a seafood insalata, ravioli with bolognese for John and I had the chicken parm without the parm with homemade fettuccini and a glass of Montepuciano Abruzzo. Everything was delicious as always!
