What is your favorite genre?

I am an eclectic writer, writing in different genres and jumping back and forth between age groups too. It’s crazy but I love doing it. I feel like I stay fresh if I keep switching things up and challenging myself with something new.

JEMSBOOKS NOVELS FOR 18+ are available on Amazon as paperbacks, Audiobooks, and ebooks (Kindle) and Barnes & Noble as paperbacks.

Purchase YA books here.

MG/PT/YA books are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Jemsbooks Children’s books are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

As you can see from what I have written so far – thrillers, mysteries, suspense, crime, detective, paranormal, clairvoyant, short stories in multi-genres, time travel, magic, ghosts and haunted house, children’s, MG, PT, YA and novels for 18 that there is something for everyone.

What is your favorite genre? I’d love to hear from you.

The only genres I do not choose to write in are horror, explicit material and language and zombies. Sorry if you choose one of those. I cannot be convinced to tackle any one of those genres.

My favorite is still writing for MG/PT/YA. Stories come to me easier and quicker in these genres. It’s as if the child in me comes alive to tell the stories. I love the feeling of freedom and flying as my words appear so fast and the story takes form. I may get back to that genre again one day.

In the meantime I will keep on working on my present WIP which is for 18+. I also have several more ideas on the back burner. You never know what I will come up with next! I don’t know either!

Children’s books
New books coming

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. I would love to hear what you are reading and what genres you prefer. I appreciate your kind support of my blog and books. Come back again real soon!

  1. I have always written poetry factual fiction or fictionized facts! 😉

I am a very eclectic reader. I read everything. But I’ve found my writing niche with romantic suspense stories (I think), although I’ve enjoyed writing several short stories in different genres.

Genres! I write mysteries and historical fiction and love those themes, so they dominate my reading. But I also like dystopian books and sci-fi.
