Do you find it difficult to get your MG/PT to read? Are their heads always in the latest technology, e.g. iPhones, iPads, iPods, X-Box, etc.? Well, it’s time to get them reading again to charge their minds instead of putting their minds to sleep.
My suggestion is to grab copies of my award-winning books with plenty of action, adventure, magic, ghosts, haunted house, time travel, witches, warlocks, and more. If your older children haven’t read any of these books, now is the time to start.
When I wrote these two series I dedicated them to my grandchildren. They eagerly looked forward to the next installment. Now they are all grown up and beyond the age for these books. But there are adults who are reading these books and loving them.
I felt like a kid again and has so much fun creating these characters. The characters took over the stories and ran with them. I never knew how they were going to end the stories. It was a surprise to me too!
I have often thought about beginning another series for middle-graders since I enjoyed this genre immensely. Who knows? Maybe I will one day after all the projects that are presently lined up waiting for me to complete.
I hope you will discover the fun and entertaining stories and share them with your kids. It would be fun to discuss them together. I did that when my kids were younger. It brought us closer together. I also knew exactly what they were reading and that there was nothing there unfavorable in the writing.
