If you know anything about me at this point in time from reading my blog, you would know that I am an eclectic writer. I can’t just write in one genre or about one subject or for one age group. I love to bounce all over the spectrum and sometimes outside my comfort zone. This can be scary at times!

In this short story collection I have written 15 stories in the following genres: romance, grief/loss, mystery, suspense, horror, paranormal, comedy, sci-fi, and fantasy. This book was dedicated to my courageous friend, Anne Gillis Benedetto, who lost her fight with breast in 2017.

The seventh story in this eclectic collection is A Last Gift.

This story came to me one day when I was thinking of my grandmother who gave me a rocking chair that belonged to my grandfather. It is precious to me. Anything our parents and grandparents give to us is special.
