I can’t believe how fast summer is flying by! Our flowers are doing well even if there hasn’t been much rain. Of course my husband and I water them daily as long as there’s no ban on using water.
We’ve had a hot, humid summer in the northeast, USA, here in New Hampshire. We usually enjoy dining out on our deck overlooking a small pond. But it’s been oppressive and this heat has pushed us indoors into air conditioned comfort. This photo of the pond shows all types of vegetation but little water. It’s still beautiful to look at.
We have the view from inside as we dine but it’s not the same. Before we know it fall will be encroaching. I look forward to the magnificent beauty of the fall foliage dressed in brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange. It’s my favorite time of year. For now, though, I’ll enjoy this warm summer and count my blessings.
I love watching the myriad assortment of birds, especially the incredible humming birds. Here are photos of one, a ruby necked, feeding at my kitchen window feeder. Other photos of birds at our back deck feeders are below. We spend a lot on keeping them fed. LOL!
I’m thankful for good health, a wonderful husband, supportive, loving family, and warm and kind friends online. You know who you are, Sally and Deanie and many others!
I’m thankful for the blessings God has given me. I pray that I can give back as much to others who are in need.
What are you thankful for?
Thank you for stopping by.
