i.e., to give YOURSELF time to CHECK it has ACTUALLY been activated.
Most potential readers will NOT call back later to check if it is now active.
They will forget.

Establish the time to post by comparing YOUR timezone time AND DAY with your Publisher:

use SPT Standard Pacific Time (Seattle, Washington State)
SMASHWORDS
use SPT Standard Pacific Time (Los Gatos, California)
PACIFIC STANDARD TIME ZONE IN GREEN
NOTE:
PROVIDE MORE THAN YOUR COUNTRY AMAZON OUTLETS LINKS
EITHER:
Get and display a UNIVERSAL Amazon Outlet Link
OR
Give the links for Amazon in:
UK (.co.uk) – USA (.com) – Canada (.ca) – Australia (.com.au)
