Living in New England, USA, is wonderful until the winter. Since January 23, 2015 we have received over five feet or more of snow and it is still snowing now as I write this post.
Winter seemed like it would be a mild one this year and we didn’t get more than a few inches before and after Christmas. But like most weather conditions in New England just wait a minute and it will change.
Children have been out of schools for seven days in some communities and will be going to school until the end of June and may have to go on Saturdays or have their school day extended in order to complete 180 days. Children are even asking to go back to school since all they have done over these days is shovel more and more snow. Lol!
I took these pictures from my windows as I watched the snow come down. Some windows have snow half way up. My husband has shoveled our back deck twice in between the storms and now there is at least two feet more on the deck.
All during these storms my dear husband has been feeling the birds endlessly. God bless him! Two birds flew into our downstairs slider trying to get out of the storms and lay frozen where they fell – poor things!
Oh snow please go away and bring spring our way!!!! Stay safe and warm if you are in New England, my friends!
Thanks for stopping by to warm my heart.
Blessings!

We’re in much the same circumstances in Canada: buried. Sigh.
Lovely to look at but to drive in or shovel! Stay warm and well, Tess! Thanks for stopping by. The warm glow of friends visiting is wonderful!
Thank you and you’re welcome. Friendship IS warming. ❤
My daughter lives in Cambridge, Mass….and fortunately works from home most of the time, and is able to walk to all the cafes and shops in Cambridge…..you really did get hammered this year:) Spring isn’t too far off. Janet.
May she stay safe and warm in Cambridge. Good that she can work from home. Spring sounds good to me, can’t wait! Thanks for stopping by. Hugs!
