Drystan the Dragon and Friends Book 1: Drystan and Durward Save the Day won a Runners-up Award from Top Shelf Awards!

I am excited to announce that Drystan the Dragon and Friends Series Book 1: Drystan and Durward Save the Day won a Runners-up Award from Top Shelf Awards! It is so thrilling to see one of my books honored like this. Thank you so much, Top Shelf Awards, for this honor. I am doing a happy dance again! I feel blessed! I think Drystan and Durward are quite pleased too!

Children – Fantasy/Sci-Fi – Drystan the Dragon and Friends Book 1:
Drystan and Durward Save the
Day

Blurb:

This is a magical series about Drystan the dragon and his friends. These dragons are colorful, engaging and fun to read about. They teach children the importance of friendship, caring for one another, being kind to others, and it’s okay to be different.

All dragons are of different colors and their names begin with the letter ‘D’ – a fun way for young children to learn the letter ‘D’ and colors.

In Book 1 Drystan makes a new friend, Durward, who invites him to visit the Land of the Rainbows. While they are there, they have an adventure. Find out what the dragons do to save the day.

I created this magical/fun/adventure series for young children to enjoy. What child doesn’t like dragons who do good deeds and are kind and caring to one another. All my children’s books carry valuable life lessons and important family values.

Here are some reviews from Amazon using AllAuthor.com promos:

This magical series is for kids PS-Grade 3! There are six books in the series with a different dragon introduced in each book plus Drystan – the star of the series. There are seven dragons in all – four are male and three are female.

It is a fun, educational series for children to learn letters, colors and good behavior, friendship, respect and kindness toward others. Check it out today! Your children will love the rhyming and descriptions of each dragon. There is a poem that introduces a new dragon to each book. All dragons’ names begin with the letter ‘D’ and their colors will be in brilliant shades of blue, green, red, purple, pink, orange and brown. A fun series for kids to enjoy and learn at the same time. This series will keep them occupied and happy all year round. Children will love reading these books and they may become their favorite books at bedtime and any time. The illustrations and covers were created by my husband, John.

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!
