My husband and I went out to a late lunch/early dinner at a local place – Lucciano’s. It’s a lovely place, safely and socially distanced for eating. They serve lunch and dinner. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The place was attractively done and was roomy for a small place with a large bar. Here are some photos I took while we were there. I apologize for not taking photos of our food. I was so hungry that I dove right in and ate it too quickly and remembered too late. Sorry!
As you see above there is outdoor dining too with lovely flower boxes lining the edges and wrought iron seats at the entrance. It was a little too cool to eat outside for us this day but maybe another time when it is warmer.
The hostess was gracious enough to let me snap her photo for this post. A special ‘thank you’ to her. Notice the beautiful bar in the background.
I had to take a photo of the delectable desserts that are offered if you have any room after your meal. I didn’t – too full. I’m not much for dessert but these made my mouth water just the same.
I did not take photos of the inside of the restaurant. Forgot! Sorry. But it would have disturbed the diners anyway. Another time I will do that if I remember.
As for the meals – my husband had a pizza. It was a small pizza enough for one person but he couldn’t finish it. He planned to polish it off the next day.
We started off with two crab cakes that were delicious on a bed of a variety of lettuce and drizzled with a mustard dill sauce (I guess) that was wonderful!
I had the chicken parm (without the parm – due to my sensitivity to cheese) with just sauce along with penne (al dente). It was delicious also. I couldn’t finish the chicken (2 large pieces) but gobbled up the penne (not too much – just enough for me). I plan to eat the leftover chicken for lunch. Yum!
I look forward to going back again to try their coconut shrimp and other appetizers. Luckily for us this place is close by and just 15 minutes away.
Hope you are in the neighborhood sometime to try it. You won’t be disappointed. Tell them Janice Spina sent you. (Ha! They won’t know me, but you could try anyway.)
Just talking about their food makes me want to go back again. Sigh! I love being waited on. Missed that a lot during the Pandemic. We are both doubly vaccinated now and feel safe to go out and about to dinner and shopping. We still wear our masks going into the restaurant and leaving. It’s still mandatory in New Hampshire in many of the establishments. Better to be safe.
Stay safe and well and happy eating! Take care!
