Do Your Children Love Dragons?

I have been thinking about creating a new series of books on dragons. What do you think about that? Do your children love dragons?

Last year I read to my grandson’s PK class from my book, Louey the Lazy Elephant.
They loved Louey! He’s so sweet and teaches children about the importance of not being lazy. Check out Louey below.

I asked the two wonderful teachers in this class what the children loved to read about. They both agreed it was DRAGONS! Well, that settled it for me. I wanted from then on to begin my series.

Of course now all I needed was to find time to do that. I am in the beginning stages of Book 6 of the Davey & Derek Junior Detectives Series and wanted to finish that up first.

Check out the Davey & Derek Series above. I will complete the above book 6 in between these dragon books. Next on my project list are two more books 3 & 4 in the Abby & Holly Series. I was excited to win a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for Abby & Holly School Dance. That encouraged me to want to write more in this series.

But these dragons kept nagging me to write about them.

Today I am at my grandson’s taking care of him (not babysitting because he is now 5). He told me I can’t say that anymore because he is BIG! I have a couple of hours while he is at PK to write. Here I am writing a post about writing! Ha!

Well, getting back to the dragons. I have written two stories so far and will write a third one today after this post. I won’t share any more of this series just yet. But please keep a watch for them. Of course my husband/illustrator has to finish up another children’s book first then onto the dragons. He is looking forward to creating some cool dragons for my stories. I can’t wait! Can you?

In the meantime please check out all my books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble for all ages. There is something for everyone there. All Jemsbooks are also on my website Jemsbooks.com for you can click on the covers to the right of this post for quick access.
