May God Bless Houston!

Please take a moment out of your day and pray for those who have lost their lives in Houston, Texas! Thank you!

These are photos taken by newspapers over five days of the storm.

As everyone has seen and heard, here in the USA, Houston, Texas is under over 51 inches of rain from Hurricane Harvey! The millions of people who live there need help. Please pray for them!

I noticed that Google and Facebook are matching donations on their sites up to one million dollars each. God bless them both.

Thank God for the first responders who rescued so many from the floods. FEMA and the Red Cross are doing all they can but it is difficult with millions of homeless and hungry to feed and house. They need all the help they can get.

Volunteers have come from far and wide across the USA to lend a hand. That’s what Americans do. We help each other in times like these. We put aside our differences and come together. Too bad it takes catastrophes like this to do that.

It is heartbreaking to see what these Texans are going through. The rest of America is pitching in and trying to help get supplies to them. Most left their flooded homes with only the clothes on their backs.

Our friends, Debbie and Jerry, live in Houston but we have not been able to reach them. We are praying for their safety.

Hurricane Harvey is now a tropical storm headed northeast with more rain for the states but nowhere near what was delivered to Houston.

Please send prayers or whatever you can through Facebook and Google. God bless you and may you always be safe in your homes.

Blessings & hugs,

Janice

PS  My town of Londonderry, New Hampshire is taking up a collection of clothes and sheets to donate to Houston. I filled three bags with clothes, sheets and comforter to send along. Every bit helps. They are desparate for anything that you can do.

I find it almost impossible to get my head round it. Good for you to highlight it this way.

Thank you for speaking for all of us, Janice. Right now the need is for money to support all the folks out of their homes. The American Red Cross and Samaritan’s Purse are two good places to donate. They are already there.

  3. We have family in Katy, TX that we have yet to hear from
